I had the pleasure of driving this 991.2 GT3 RS Weissach for an entire day, which gave me the opportunity to experience it on a different level. Unlike previous short, purposeful drives, this one included a long-distance journey up one of the UAE’s finest mountain passes. The experience was truly mind-blowing. Despite its race-bred capabilities, the GT3 RS communicates everything through the steering and driving mechanics with remarkable precision.

Driving it for over four hours, with 9,000 rpm and 500+ horsepower, I never once felt fatigued. The seamless gear shifts from the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) gearbox were so smooth that they felt more like pressing piano keys than shifting gears.

The RS badge—short for RennSport or "Racing Sport"—represents Porsche’s racing heritage, which dates back to the legendary 1973 2.7 RS. Every Porsche RS is a race-bred machine, and the 991.2 GT3 RS is no exception. It embodies the spirit of endurance racing and rally victories, while remaining one of the most sublime driving experiences ever created.
